Stay in Contact with Your Contractor

When you’re in the process of building your dream home, it’s important to have a contractor whom you can call on any time you have a question, a concern, or just want to be updated on how things are progressing. Some Austin luxury home builders are great about answering your phone calls, returning your emails, or best of all,  keeping you in the loop without you having to ask. Others, however, can be hard to get ahold of and are known for leaving clients in the dark for long periods of time. If you want a pleasant experience, get a contractor who is a good communicator.

You’ll know you’ve found awesome Austin luxury home builders when your contractor willingly gives you his or her cell phone number, email address, and other personal contact information that will allow you to reach him or her at any time. This is a vote of confidence in you; your contractor trusts that you will not abuse this information. Obviously, you shouldn’t call up your contractor every second, and you should always try to reach him or her during regular business hours when possible, but it is nice to know you always have a way to get in contact if the need arises.
