Consulting with your Contractor

If you, like so many people these days, got tired of looking at Lake LBJ homes for sale and decided instead to hire a contractor to build your dream home, there are some things you need to keep in mind. First things first, you must understand that your contractor has been hired or will be hired to perform a service for you. Therefore, you are the customer, so to speak, and the customer is always right! You deserve to demand the very best from your contractor, to ask questions of him or her, and to feel in control at all times.

When you hire a contractor, know that he or she will have a team of workers creating your home. You need to know, however, how often your contractor plans to be on site, where he or she can assist builders and/or ensure that the work being done on your property is satisfactory and is being completed on schedule. The more frequently your contractor plans to be around, the better.
